Isn't it just a stitch that Hurricane Gustav may hit New Orleans just in time for the Republican Convention?
Well, keep in mind - the State of Louisiana (at least) has some decent leadership now under Bobby Jindal, and we can hope that Ray Nagin learned his lesson after Katrina, so even if the worst does happen, it appears that this time the state and local authorities should be on the ball and things will be a lot better than back in '05.
