All people of good will hate the New York Yankees

I have always hated the Yankees. So what better way to close out playing in their miserable sarcophagus in the Bronx than with the first 3 game sweep for Detroit in that dump since 1966? None. None better way.

Detroit takes another game from the hated Yankees, led by Placido Polanco's two home runs.

I'm worried about Polly - if he keeps it up with the homers, I'm afraid he'll get a big head about it.

There's no "I" in "team," Placido.
